Winners of Big Brother Naija TV Show From Season 1 to 5

The big brother reality show usually houses contestants who live together in the house set aside for them alone and compete for cash prices and material gifts. Aside receiving a grand price there are always gifts and support by sponsors of the tv show to winners of the tasks given by the sponsors. And above all there are always lots of companies and organizations watching and looking out for the talented ones to endorse after the show. Each season of the show comes with new opportunities. So far, 5 seasons have been held and 5 lucky people have had the opportunity to change their fortune because of the show.

Katung Aduwak

Katung Aduwak

He was the winner of the maiden edition of the reality tv show which was held in Nigeria in 2006. He beat 14 other contestants who were part of the show to get the grand price. Katung is from Zonkwa in Kaduna, Nigeria. He was a script writer and production assistant before getting into the show and having won the grand prize and acquired fame moved into film making and production. Today, he directs some of the shows on African magic and produces music videos.

Efe Ejeba

He won the “see gobe” season of the show held in South Africa in 2017. He beat all 14 people in contention for the grand prize of 25 million naira and took it all. Efe is from delta state. He is an artiste and entertainer. Winning the show opened up more opportunities for him in the music industry as he has worked very closely with Ice Prince, Olamide and BOJ.

Miracle Igbokwe

The “double wahala” season; he won all 45 million naira worth of prizes. He is a pilot. Even while he was in the show, his dream had always been to further his piloting career and that he did when he bagged the grand prize. Today he is a certified instrument pilot.

Mercy Eke

The “queen of highlight” won all 60 million naira worth of prizes for the “pepper dem” season in 2019. She is the first female to have won the show. She hails from imo state. As a business minded person, she has taken her business to another level from the cash she got from the show. She is into acting too and she has a reality show with her lover “Ike” from the show.

Laycon

He emerged the winner of the  “lockdown” season of the show winning all 85 million naira worth of prizes. Laycon is a Yoruba boy. He is a song writer and rapper and with the grand prize and fame he is sure going places.
