On the 19th day of December 1994 in Lagos state Nigeria, Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, a creative and talented young man with great potentials was born. He hails from Ekiti state in Nigeria. He is mostly known as Zlatan Ibile by both fans and admirers. Presently, he’s 24 years of age; amazing how a young soul could impact the world so much. He sings, writes songs, raps, performs on stage and records albums. His genres of music are afro beats and hip hop. The Shaku Shaku moves couldn’t contend with his Zanku ‘Leg Work’ moves.


Zlatan Ibile underwent his primary and secondary school education in Lagos after which he moved to Ogun state for his Tertiary education. He attended Moshood Abiola Polytechnic in Abeokuta, Ogun state and is a graduate of Business Administration with a Higher National Diploma (HND) qualification.


He started his career in music in 2011 immediately after his secondary school education. In 2014, he won the ‘‘One Mic Campus Tour’’ music competition; a competition that was sponsored by Airtel in Abeokuta, Ogun state. In 2017, his single “My Body” featuring Olamide was released and this created a relationship between him and Davido because it was after a video of Davido dancing to the song surfaced online that the song went viral. In 2018, he featured in Chinko Ekun’s hit song “Able God” which also featured Lil Kesh; a Nigerian rapper, and this made him more famous. After that, he released his song “Zanku” together with the leg work moves which is still a bomb till date. Still in 2018, he released another hit song “Osanle” featuring Davido.

2019 began with him releasing “Glory” after which he featured on Burna Boy’s “Killin Dem” and Naira Marley’s “Am I a Yahoo Boy”. He’s been nominated for the Headies Award twice but lost on both attempts and this caused a lot of controversy on social media, but not withstanding, he’s attained a lot of success in his music career. He also signed an endorsement deal with Coca Cola.

Sometime in April 2019, Zlatan together with two other people were arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for alleged internet fraud and money laundering. After thorough investigation, he was proven innocent and was thereby discharged and acquitted. He’s presently one of the richest and famous artiste in Nigeria with an estimated net worth of $1.5 million and he’s never stopped using his position to help those he can.
